Plan every order.
Run every shift.
From one screen.
Raseel turns your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central manufacturing data into a planner-friendly workspace. Schedule production orders, balance machines and work centers, catch material shortages early, and publish changes back to BC when you’re ready.
Works with your existing Business Central setup. No data migration, no second system of record.
Your ERP knows everything. Your planners still use spreadsheets.
Business Central holds your production orders, routings, work centers and inventory. But production planning moves fast, and ERP screens weren’t built for it. Planners jump between pages, export to Excel, and rebuild the schedule by hand every morning.
The result is familiar:
- 01Machines sit idle while upstream work waits on a resource that was double-booked.
- 02Shortages surface too late, after an order is already released to the floor.
- 03Every what-if is risky, because changing the schedule means changing live ERP data.
- 04The shop floor and the office see different pictures of what’s running right now.
A planning workspace made for the shop floor.
Raseel is a production floor management and scheduling app for manufacturers running Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It reads your production orders, routings, work centers, machine centers and inventory directly from BC, and presents them in views designed for the way planners actually think: by line, by shift, by machine.
Business Central stays your single source of truth. Raseel is the fast, visual layer on top of it, where planners see the whole day at a glance, test changes safely, and push decisions back to BC with one click.
Everything a planner needs, from next week’s orders to what’s on the machine right now.
Planning board
See every open production order in one place, grouped by status and due date. Drag orders into sequence, spot what’s late, and decide what runs next without opening a single BC page.
Floor board
A live view of the shop floor. See which operations are running, paused or waiting at each work center, so supervisors and planners share the same real-time picture.
Gantt schedule
A visual timeline of every operation across your machines, cells, assembly lines and packing stations. Drag a bar to move a job, and Raseel reschedules the downstream steps for you. Changes stay in draft until you publish them.
Capacity load
See how loaded each work center and machine center is, hour by hour and day by day. Find the bottleneck before it becomes a backlog, and rebalance work across equipment.
Routings setup
View and edit routing steps, run times, setup times and send-ahead quantities directly in Raseel. Edits save to Business Central the moment you confirm them, so your master data stays accurate.
Generic schedulers treat operations as boxes. Raseel models how your line actually flows.
Send-ahead overlap scheduling
On a real line, the next operation doesn’t wait for the whole lot to finish. Raseel models send-ahead quantities explicitly, so assembly can start as soon as the first parts leave machining. Your schedule reflects how work really moves, and lead times shrink on screen the way they do on the floor.
Material shortage alerts
Raseel walks your orders in schedule order and allocates on-hand inventory as it goes. If raw materials, components or packaging will run short for a later order, you see it on that order before it reaches the floor. Move an order in the draft and the shortage picture updates instantly.
Draft, preview, publish
Planners need room to experiment. Every drag-and-drop change in the Gantt goes into a draft queue first. Try a new sequence, compare it, and publish to Business Central only when it works. Nothing touches live data until you say so.
Work centers and machine centers, unified
Some routing steps point to a whole work center, like Assembly. Others point to a specific machine, like CNC Mill 2. Raseel treats both as schedulable resources, so every routing in BC plans correctly, however it was set up.
Clean schedules, no noise
Zero-time cost lines, such as routing steps used only for costing, are filtered out automatically. Planners see only the operations that actually take time on the floor.
Native to Business Central. Not bolted on.
Raseel connects to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central through a dedicated BC extension and a secure API layer. There’s no nightly sync and no duplicate database: Raseel reads live BC data and writes your published decisions straight back.
One fast snapshot.
Raseel gathers orders, routings, resources and inventory from BC in a single optimized request, so the planning board loads in seconds.
Secure by design.
Access runs through Microsoft Entra ID, using the same identity platform your organization already trusts.
Shop floor actions inside BC.
Start, pause, resume and report output directly from the Prod. Order Routing page, with pause reasons captured for later analysis. No scanner hardware required to get started.
Your data stays yours.
Production orders, routings and inventory remain in Business Central, with its permissions, audit trail and reporting intact.
One plan, shared by everyone who makes it happen.
Production planners
A visual schedule they can rearrange by drag and drop, test safely in draft, and publish to BC in one step.
Shop floor supervisors
A live view of what’s running, paused or next at every work center, and simple start, pause and report actions.
Operations managers
Capacity load across machines, work centers and lines, so bottlenecks are visible before they cost output.
Purchasing and inventory
Early warning of material shortages, tied to the exact order and date they’ll hit.
IT and ERP teams
A clean BC extension and secure Entra ID integration, with Business Central remaining the system of record.
From ERP data to a running schedule in three steps.
-
1
Connect.
Install the Raseel extension in Business Central and connect through Microsoft Entra ID. Raseel reads your existing orders, routings, work centers and inventory. Nothing to re-enter.
-
2
Plan.
Arrange orders on the Planning board and Gantt schedule. Raseel handles send-ahead overlap, flags material shortages and shows capacity load as you work, all in a safe draft.
-
3
Publish and run.
Publish the schedule to Business Central in one click. The shop floor follows it, reports progress, and the Floor board updates so everyone stays in sync.
Frequently asked questions
Does Raseel replace Business Central?+
No. Business Central remains your system of record. Raseel is a planning and shop floor layer that reads from BC and writes published changes back to it.
What kinds of manufacturers is Raseel for?+
Any discrete or batch manufacturer that runs production orders and routings in Business Central, from machining and fabrication to assembly, food and packaging.
Do we need to change our routings or master data?+
No. Raseel works with routings that use work centers, machine centers, or a mix of both. Costing-only steps are filtered out automatically.
What happens when I move a job on the Gantt?+
The change goes into a draft. Raseel recalculates downstream operations and material availability instantly. Nothing is written to BC until you publish.
How does Raseel handle overlapping operations?+
Raseel uses the send-ahead quantity on each routing step, so a downstream operation can start as soon as enough units arrive from the step before it.
Do we need barcode scanners on the shop floor?+
Not to get started. Operators can start, pause, resume and report output directly from the Prod. Order Routing page in Business Central.
How is access secured?+
Raseel authenticates to Business Central through Microsoft Entra ID, so access is governed by your organization’s existing identity and permission policies.
Which Business Central versions are supported?+
Raseel supports Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central online (SaaS).
